Clear Fork Security LLC is a local, owner-operated security contractor based in Colcord, West Virginia. We install and harden camera systems, access control and networks for homes and businesses in the hollers of Boone and Raleigh counties and the communities around them.
Rural ground is its own problem. Long driveways, tree cover, outbuildings nobody wired for anything modern, cell signal that drops at the bottom of the holler, and weather that finds every cheap mount. A system specified for a suburban subdivision does not survive here, and a national call centre is not going to come look at why.
The person who assesses your property is the person who installs the system and the person who answers when you call about it afterward. No subcontractors handed your site plan, no ticket queue, no script.
The recorder lives on your property and the video stays on it. We do not hold a copy and we are not a middleman you have to pay to see your own video.
Default behaviour for most consumer security gear is to stream out to a vendor cloud. We configure and firewall so your cameras and sensors stay on your network.
A system we install records and works without a monthly fee. Support can be an agreement; it is not a ransom on your own hardware.
Internet down, power flickering, vendor out of business — the local parts keep running. We tell you up front which features depend on what.
Logins, diagrams, configs and labelled runs are handed to you in writing. If you ever replace us, you are not starting from nothing.
